1. Introduction
Welcome to the TechNations 2024 Conference & Tradeshow ("Event"), hosted by the Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation ("OFNTSC"). By registering for and participating in the Event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
2. Registration
Registration must be completed on the official Event website,
Fees must be paid in full to secure participation.
Registration is non-transferable without prior approval from OFNTSC.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
To cancel your registration, you must notify OFNTSC in writing.
OFNTSC will grant a full refund to any individual who cancels their registration prior to August 1st, 2024. Refunds will not be granted after August 1st, 2024.
Important note: Registrants are responsible for canceling their own travel arrangements (airline, rental car, and/or other ground transportation and parking, hotel, and any applicable fees)
4. Conduct at the Event
Attendees must behave in a professional manner and respect fellow participants.
OFNTSC reserves the right to remove any attendee from the Event for misconduct, without a refund.
5. Data Collection and Use
Personal Information: We collect personal data such as your name, email, and professional details during the registration process. This information is used for event management purposes, including registration, communication, and access control.
Data Sharing: We may share your data with third-party service providers for the purpose of hosting and organizing the Event.
Photography and Recording: During the Event, photography, video, and audio recording may occur. Your attendance constitutes consent to be photographed or recorded, and for OFNTSC to use these photos and recordings in promotional materials.
Security and Data Protection: We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We implement appropriate physical, administrative, and technical safeguards.
6. Liability
OFNTSC will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or any other unforeseeable consequence resulting from attending the Event.
Attendees are personally responsible for their belongings at the Event and OFNTSC will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
Changes to the Event
OFNTSC reserves the right to make changes to the Event schedule, location, or speakers without prior notice.
In the case of significant changes, attendees will be notified via email.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
